Creating a seamless payment experience
In March, we took the first major step towards a fully integrated payment experience by launching the beta version of our Point of Sale (POS) system. Designed to streamline in-person payments and simplify financial operations, the POS combines payment processing with inventory, finance, and tax management—all directly within the Reservio app. This feature marked the beginning of our journey to make payments as easy to manage as bookings.
In September, we built on this foundation with the release of online payments, one of the most significant updates in Reservio's recent history. With online payments, users can now process transactions directly within the app, creating a smoother client experience and supporting steady cash flow. Together, POS and online payments form a powerful, flexible toolkit to manage your business's financial needs.
These features represent a big leap toward our goal of offering complete, integrated business management software for small businesses. And we’re not stopping here: as we continue into 2025, we’ll be adding new functionalities and enhancements to ensure a seamless, secure payment solution tailored to your needs.

Enhancing user experience for greater efficiency
At Reservio, we’re dedicated to helping you work smarter, not harder. In June, we launched the Create New feature, a tool designed to streamline your workflow. Sell a product, create a new booking, or share a time slot directly with your clients… every action you need to perform in the system starts from the same place. It’s quick and intuitive.
Building on this momentum, we introduced an updated navigation interface just a month later. The new layout offers a more intuitive structure, making it simpler to find, manage, and customize settings in the app. Together, these improvements have made Reservio easier to navigate and even more user-friendly—letting you focus more on your business and less on admin.
Expanding our global presence
This year, we took an exciting step toward supporting our growing global community by launching Reservio in Swedish, Danish, and Finnish. Now, we provide a powerful business tool to our users in Scandinavia in their native language and we hope to welcome even more in our community. Tack, tak, and kiitos to all our new users in the Nordics!
To strengthen our connection with users worldwide, we also expanded our social media presence by launching new accounts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, and YouTube. Through these channels, we’ll be sharing business tips, Reservio updates, and inspiring content to grow your wellness business, making it easier for you to stay connected and engaged with us, wherever you are.
Becoming part of ABUGO
This year’s achievements go beyond exciting product updates. A major highlight was joining ABUGO Holding, connecting Reservio with three other pioneering e-commerce startups: Shopsys, Smartsupp, and Survio. Being part of ABUGO unlocks exciting opportunities for collaboration, allowing us to innovate and enhance our services alongside other leading digital solutions. It’s a promising new chapter in our growth story, one that will bring even more value to our users in the years to come.
CS Innovator Award by Intercom
We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service and this year, our team got awarded for their hard work with the CS Innovator Award from Intercom! This recognition celebrates our milestone of delivering over 5,000 AI-assisted responses to customer tickets since launching our Customer Care AI assistant, Reo, last year. Reo has helped us enhance response speed and service quality, and this award is a testament to our team’s dedication to serving you better every day.
As we wrap up the year, Reo will be available 24/7 to assist you while our team enjoys a well-deserved break. Here’s our holiday support schedule:
- Available on December 23, 27, 30, and 31 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (CET).
- The team will resume regular support hours (8:00 am to 5:30 pm CET) on January 2, 2025.
